Some Mad Stuff

Largely stolen from "Black Cat Crossing" by Richard Sala

One of the Wonders of the World

Bottled up... playing around with paper dolls. I'm a grown man with the mind of an ape.
In grotesque disguises I prowl up and down my street, thinking evil thoughts.
My neighbour, Mr. Osgood, hates me.
I'm convinced he's spreading lies about me... so I decide to monitor his activities.
My latest discovery: his dog has been trained to keep me at bay.
It's a fight to the death!
From the bushes, a mysterious hidden presence watches.
Later, safe behind my barricaded windows, I think about all the places I've never seen.
That night I dream that the spirit of the dead dog is leading me on a journey of unparalleled beauty.
The next morning I begin building a monument to the slain creature on my roof, using only breadcrumbs and epoxy.
When it is finished, people come from all around and a professor from the local university declares it to be one of the wonders of the world.
Unfortunately, at the height of the celebration, I am assassinated by my unforgiving neighbour.

Another Mad Doktor

The late hours
The forbidden experiments
I've been here before
I've preserved the brains of well-known Hollywood actors... kept them alive to this day...
I have created artificial men who do my bidding
I have reduced my rivals to doll-like proportions
With unmentionable intentions I have hypnotized young women.
But their boyfriends always interfere, always crush my plans with annoying ease.
My dreams inevitably go up in smoke.
What will it be this time? Fire, bullets, or explosion into a million pieces...?

Judy Drood - Girl Detective (edited)

Judy's father, lovable old Colonel Drood, is arrested for a series of unusually vicious murders.
Judy believes he is innocent and sets out to prove it.
Judy investigates the peculiar rash of "pyjama suicides", involving a number of her father's business rivals.
Judy discovers her father is the owner of several interesting night clubs.
Judy uncovers a mysterious stairway, concealed in her father's study.
The stairs lead to an underground laboratory. Apparently, collecting postage stamps isn't Colonel Drood's only hobby!
Face to face with a deadly dwarf!
Happily, the creature turns out to be a trusted servant and friend of her father, who he refers to as "my Master."
Lots of action and adventure ensue, as Judy tracks down those who testified against her father.
Finally, crucial evidence is found.
Unfortunately, it seems to conclusively prove her father's guilt. But Judy's faith is steadfast and true.
Hassled by the cops, who wish to question her for concealing evidence, Judy has no choice but to shoot it out.
