Gloria,in 1989 I purchased our Lord Ashley Cooper from you. His parents were your Valentino and Snow White. You might remember me because we lived in Martinsville, VA, at the time and had Casey, a puppy mill Shih Tzu, and you used to board and groom them
both for us. I came across your web site while helping a friend look for sites on Shih Tzus.
Both Casey and Ashley Cooper are still with us.
They are the loves of our life! Cooper has been quite healthy and such a great dog. We thank you so much for him!
Recently our friends, Sandra and Gene Craddock of Greensboro, lost their Shih Tzu, Tui, after 15 years. They are heartbroken but will be looking for another soon and may have already contacted you. I also believe that you spoke to Sandra at your vet one
ay. If there is anyway you can help them out with a puppy, and in price, it would be a very good deed. A puppy won't find a more loving home and good care!

I bought a seven week old shih tzu yesterday. He is the cutest. I love his disposition. We just recently lost a toy yorkie, and instead of getting another yorkie, we picked the shih tzu due to its disposition.
I really don't know much about them. I am slowly learning. What kind of steps do you take to even begin showing a dog. Do you start out at the local level? Then where? How?

What a BEAUTIFUL site/sight! I have my first shih tzu, she was 6mos. old yesterday...BUT..here is the part that I want to share with you. She is black & white:) so after days and days of thinking and pondering different names, I decided to name her PANDA.

Have a new Shih Tzu to go with our Italian Greyhound and our calico cat! These three get along just fine. What a trio! The cat weighs the most of the three - she's a big one, used to be 23 lbs. but now the dogs steal her food so she has trimmed down to
maybe 18 lbs. The dogs are about 12-13 lbs. each. They are quite a group, but they are easy. We also have six kids, 12-22. Fun. Most trouble is, doggies have accidents in house while gone to work and school - but not that bad!!

Great site! My oldest Shih-Tzu, Chan, a male is going on 12 years of age. I have 2 others, one female, Mai Tai Ling and a male, SinghFu Chin Kai, they are both 8 years of age, 1 month apart and from 2 different litters, no relation at all. I'm looking
or a little girl and I'd like a gold and white one, or honey and white. I'd like to get a puppy now while the others are around to socialize it with us. I can never replace any of my Shih-Tzu's but I know Chan is getting up there in years. I've owned 4
Shih-Tzu's in my life and they are the greatest dogs in the whole world. I had Andi Lu, a male put down at age 10 in 1992 due to bladder cancer. I had him neutered too so I don't know what happened. I neuter all my Shih-Tu's. They are our companions a

My 13 yo daughter and I are interested in a small. sturdy breed for agility training. We have one dog, a Wheaton, but got into agility too late for him(he's 11 and slowing down). We showed and finished 3 lhasa apsos years ago,but now show horses(dressage)
