Rules:
- We do not use fowl language period.  There are young people who do play and as honorable people we shall act that way.

- People caught using fowl language shall be given a warning to start with.  Continuous abuse of this rule though will result in fines and taxes against that person.  If they continue to still abuse this rule then further action shall be taken, such as reduction in status level, or even expulsion.

It is understandable that people do get upset at times, but with the number of items in the game people don't have to worry to much about losing items and also you must think before you type.
Language:
- You may kill people listed on the KOS list (vulchers, pkers, scammers,   and looters)

- Also please refer to the link to the left for expansion on the PKing issue.
Player Killing:
Scamming and Vulching:
- Anyone caught scamming will be expelled from the guild and hunted down

- Vulching is not as much of a problem as it used to be.  If someone is hunting in an area you may hunt there as well, but do not attack the creatures that they are attacking unless asked to help, this applies to guild members as well.
- We do not condone looting except under strict circumstances

- If you kill a person on the wanted list which are looters, and scammers then you may loot their bodies if it has been desiganted on their rap sheet, but the looted items must be turned into the guild leader.  These items will be held for ransom against that player until they return whatever they stole.

- There is no buying or trading of looted items period! This prevents people from just going out to kill people and loot their stuff.

- For evil and criminals please refer to the link regarding wars.
Looting:
- We are a noble guild and thus we promote generosity and not greed

- Refer to the link for status levels for further information on greed and magic.

- Refer to the link for speicaly guilds for information about resources.  (link is located on the members page.)
Greed:
War: - Refer to link for information.
Status levels:
- Refer to link for information.
Guild Shop:
- The guild also has a shop where you can buy weapons, armor and non-combat magics.  The link is through the members page and list most of what the guild has for sale at that current time.  The list will be updated periodically.

- Members may purchase items from the guild for reduced costs then what the market value is.  From time to time though the guild will sell items outside of the guild at the market value to attain some money if a good enough offer is presented.

- If members wish to try to sell items between each other they may email the guild leader their item and price and he will post the information on the guild shop as well with that members name.  It is to help keep items and money within the guild.

Government:
Alignment:
- Tyr shall be a good guild which means neutral and above alignment is allowed, but no evil or criminals.  If you are reduced to an evil alignment then you have 1 day to bring your alignment back up to at least neutral.  You shall be excused from all battles to preserve your alignment, except in the events of war, you will have 1 week from the end of the war.  If you become a criminal for any reason then you must play out our sentence in jail as is fitting.  So there is no criminal status allowed outside of jail.  You will be removed from the guild if you have criminal status and are not in jail.  Temporary status is allowed but you have 1 day to remove the temporary status otherwise you will be considered a criminal.  If you are removed from the guild for criminal status, you must again get the approval of the Grand Council to rejoin.
- Dishonesty or lying will not be tolerated within the guild under any circumstance.  If you are caught lying then you shall be removed from the guild.  You may be given a chance to prove your case to the council the next time they meet.
Dishonesty:
- Tyr shall try to promote roleplaying and get as many people involved as we can.  We do not force anyone outside or within the guild to roleplay.  Tyr will also have a strong base of tradeskillers so that we may prosper and flourish in the times ahead.  Due to the nature of working on most skills and the length of time required the guild shall treat those working on skills the same as anyone else.  Most people who have grown bored of fighting or hunting have chosen to work on skills lately and thus tend to withdraw into their skill.  They may not be as active within the guild or world around them but hopefully they will still be active within the specialty guilds.  We do not force members to be active in everything that goes on around them.  If people do not answer you then respect what they are doing if they are working on a tradeskill or if they are busy and just do not wish to converse at that time.  Remember in real life you can't talk all the time, and hopefully we shall have members who wish to concentrate on some tradeskills as much as they can.  Not everyone in Dransik is a warrior or a mage and many have grown bored of those roles, thus switching to tradeskills.  They are just as important to the guild as the warriors that protect and defend our lands.
Roleplaying:
Detagging and Guilds:
- Due to some circumstance where some members may wish to detag to help friends with certain quests you may do so but please notify someone within the guild of what you are doing.  If a member detags and does not notify someone to get word to a Grand Council member then after 3 days of outside the guild it will be considered that they wished to leave the guild and their name and information shall be removed from the member scrolls.

- To help keep the role of Tyr managable and focused only 1 character may be tagged within the guild unless special permission is given from the Grand Council, and you may not have alternate characters within other guilds.
Begging:
- We are a noble guild and thus we promote generosity, but we do not condone begging at all.  It demeans us all.  I try to promote kindness and gererosity to others but not everyone has enough things to spare.  If you ask someone for something and they say they do not have anything then let it go.  Do not beg other members or nonmembers.  It gives the guild a bad reputation.
Quotas:
- Due to the lack of participation in the specialty guilds we have implemented new rules regarding active status.  From now on each week every member will be expected to work on one specialty skill of their choosing and donating that set amount for that guild to a collector as a weekly quota.  The amounts are listed for each of the specialty guilds that are available on the skill list page.  These amounts reflect approximately 10-20 mins worth of time a day (4 days average for active members), but this is to get people to work on skills and make the guild what it is supposed to be, a leader in all things.  There will also be penalties for those who do not meet their weekly quota, 10-20 mins a day is not asking that much at all, and the point of joining this guild is to help each other and better ourselves.

It is also not the job of the collectors to run around to find you to turn in your daily quotas.  You must find one of the Tyr Officials (Collectors) to turn in your weekly quota to.  Upon turning in your weekly quota you must also email me the leader what you turned in, the amount, and who you turned it into.  You are only required to do this once a week which is not to much to ask.  You can easily email the information when you email me your updated info.  You may turn in your weekly quota at any time during the week once you have gathered it all.  Do not hand in small amounts as you get it.  Only turn in the final amount once you have achieved it.  It is still up to you to find one of the Collectors to hand in the quota to.

Anyone who fails to turn in their quota by Saturday night of each week will be removed for inactivity.  Once you have achieved the rank of Duke, you can turn in the quotas at your leisure since you have proven your loyalty and worth to the guild already.  Duke are except from the quota rules, since they will have moved on to helping run the guild and supply the guild as well with whatever is needed.  The Dukes though will still help with the specialty guilds but will not be bound by the rules of weekly quotas.
Updateing Info:
- There is going to be a requirement for updating the leader on your current information.  Anyone below the rank of knight must email their updated information once a week to me at Tanish1@aol.com.  Anyone who fails to update me with their information once a week will be removed for inactivity within the guild.  If you are out of town for more then a week you must notify me with an email before you leave.  Currently 90% of the guild does not send me updates.  This will change sine we are looking for active members only now.
Membership:
- The guild is going to be more selective about allowing people to join from now on.  You must follow these steps to apply for membership within Tyr.

1.) Find a sponsor within the guild (above the rank of Apprentice).  This means you must ask them if they would be willing to sponsor you for membership to the guild.  This means that you must hang out with them so they get to know you and and you get to know them.  This way you see how the guild interacts and works.

2.) After a few days your sponser will go before the Grand Council of Tyr to vote upon your membership.

3.) You will be notified by your sponsor whether you were granted membership or not.
*These may change based on the economy of Dransik and availability of items.
