About Me

My name is Amber. I am from Arlington, Tx and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Tx. I am 26 years old. Singing is my life. I do not know what I would do without the gift of music in my life. So I guess that's why I became an Elem music teacher. Share my joy of music with the children.

My Friends

Stephanie, Randa, Me, and Kylie

My friends mean everything to me and I do not know what I would do without them! I'm going to dedicate the rest of this page to all my friends to let them know how much they mean to me!

Randa has been my best friend for almost 16 years! We meet back in elementry when we were in the same dance classes. Little did we know that eventually our parents would become friends and we would be taking family vacations together. Through all of these years she has stood by me and has been there for me no matter what.

Kylie and I have been best friends for 11 year. We have always felt that destiny brought us together as friends. Out of everyone in our choir class that was auditioning for All-Region, she came up and asked me. We had never spoken to one another before. From the moment we met - we totally clicked! And it turned out that we both made the choir!! She's there for me just like I'm there for her. She's my Nashville buddy and roadtrip buddy! We love roadtrips. Since June 2000 we have driven to Nashville, Colorado, and St. Louis - we are insane but we love it!! We have this odd sense of humor and can almost read each other's thoughts to were we can finish each other's quotes. People might not understand us when we are together, but we do and that's all that matters. She's truly my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her in my life!!

What can I possibly say about my friend Stephanie. There's one word that can best describe her and that would be "crazy". She can always crack me up. We meet back in Sept 97' for a minute and then again in January. Then May '98 we both wanted to go see Bryan White in concert but had no one to go with. So Randa got us to meet again so that we could go. If it wasn't for Randa, we would have never met! Steph is the greatest. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. She keeps me updated with country music and she makes me feel sane when I'm around her! "It must be lonely to be a cow." Steph qoute

FMT - what can I possibly say about Family Musical Theater. It has been wonderful to me. I started performing again back in the fall thanks to my friend Allison who introduced me to FMT. In the fall I did, Swingin' with the Big Band Christmas where I was an Andrew Sister, dancer, and tapper. it was a lot of fun. Then this spring I did, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. I had so much fun playing Sally - I got to be a total ditz. :) Above is a picture of my friend Allison and I during Swingin'. Below is a picture of myself with my mini-me's. We had a multi-generational cast - kid, teen, and adult of the 5 characters.

Stacie!! First, she's the tallest one in the picture. She may be the youngest - but she could probably kick our butts any day! Stacie is the greatest sister anyone could ask for!! Granted, she's only my stepsister but she means more to me than that! She keeps me young, she keeps me honest. I can't believe how much she has grown and how much she has changed. And I can't believe she is graduating and going away to college - gonna miss you girl!! And for that I'm including this pic too. See, she hates almost EVERY pic we have of each other. That's why it's a group pic that I have for her. But I have to put this one up. This was 2 years ago while we were in Nashville. She looks so young - man you were always taller than me! I'm suppose to be the big sister - not the other way around! LOL!!

Here are some more random pictures of us that was taken recently. Just us girls having a good time!

We are such crazy girls! That is Stephanie with earmuffs on when Ky and I drug her to an *NSYNC concert - little does she know, she actually enjoyed it! She just won't admit it outloud.
