My name is Amber. I am from Arlington, Tx and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Tx. I am 26 years old. Singing is my life. I do not know what I would do without the gift of music in my life. So I guess that's why I became an Elem music teacher. Share my joy of music with the children.
My Friends
My friends mean everything to me and I do not know what I would do without them! I'm going to dedicate the rest of this page to all my friends to let them know how much they mean to me!
Randa has been my best friend for almost 16 years! We meet back in elementry when we were in the same dance classes. Little did we know that eventually our parents would become friends and we would be taking family vacations together. Through all of these years she has stood by me and has been there for me no matter what.
FMT - what can I possibly say about Family Musical Theater. It has been wonderful to me. I started performing again back in the fall thanks to my friend Allison who introduced me to FMT. In the fall I did, Swingin' with the Big Band Christmas where I was an Andrew Sister, dancer, and tapper. it was a lot of fun. Then this spring I did, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. I had so much fun playing Sally - I got to be a total ditz. :) Above is a picture of my friend Allison and I during Swingin'. Below is a picture of myself with my mini-me's. We had a multi-generational cast - kid, teen, and adult of the 5 characters.
Stacie!! First, she's the tallest one in the picture. She may be the youngest - but she could probably kick our butts any day! Stacie is the greatest sister anyone could ask for!! Granted, she's only my stepsister but she means more to me than that! She keeps me young, she keeps me honest. I can't believe how much she has grown and how much she has changed. And I can't believe she is graduating and going away to college - gonna miss you girl!! And for that I'm including this pic too. See, she hates almost EVERY pic we have of each other. That's why it's a group pic that I have for her. But I have to put this one up. This was 2 years ago while we were in Nashville. She looks so young - man you were always taller than me! I'm suppose to be the big sister - not the other way around! LOL!!
