| I miss going bowling on the first Wednesday of the month for a few reasons, first I used to live 10 minutes away from the bowling alley we used to go to. Second it was another chance to dress up and go somewhere. Third it was great being out with other girls doing something fun. The first time we bowled was in March I had to go in guy mode. It was still fun but I wished Jessica had been able to make it. April was great, she attended and bowled a 171 which was the highest I had bowled in a while. I bowled in pants but other girls chose long skirts. Next month I wore a long black dress and some gold sandals. I didn't bowl well but had fun. They have a laser light show with fog and laser lights and strobe lights. It threw everyone off. They played good music and some of us got to take pictures before we left. June and July were pretty much the same, we knew to get there about 9:30 since one of the leagues had just finished and some of the girls heard some rude comments. The good music continued and for the July bowling, Sylvia was able to attend. I also had some beer that night. August was the last night I was able to make. The attendance was dropping off, we think because of people taking vacations and such. I couldn't make September bowling since I had just started up with school. This is something that if given another chance I would love to participate in and a big Thank You to Becky for giving us a new 'lane' to persue. | ||
