We didn't know what had happened to Isaac and
Abba Ann's son, Jacob, until my cousin, Elizabeth
Johnson, and I ran into each other in cyberspace.
Elizabeth is a descendant of Jacob's. He had moved to
Virginia shortly after the Civil War.  She shared this
photograph with me and many more photos of
Jacob's descendants.
I appreciate Elizabeth sharing these photos with me very much!!  To see the rest of her wonderful photographs, see Jacob's Family Photos Page.

The daughter of Isaac Newton Garrett, Mary Emmaline Garrett, is standing at left.  Mary's mother, Mary Saxon Garrett, Isaac's widow (2nd wife) is seated at right; next to her, her daughter, Nettie Bell Saxon Clawson.  Standing next to Mary Emmaline Garrett is Nettie's husband, Aaron Clawson, next to him, Mary Garrett's son, Jesse Saxon.  She and Isaac Garrett had only one child.  After Isaac's death, Mary and family moved to Texas.
I thank Leslie Royce, a descendant of Mary's, for
sharing this photo.  It is much appreciated!
