This is my attempt at the fellowship brooch from the Lord of the Rings movies. It is made from galvanized wire, aluminium plate (steel plate, even a bit of can would have been better...aluminium does not solder. Wire bits shaped, then soldered together, then glued to the aluminium base. Leaf veins pattern added with leaded-glass-imitation paint, as were the green bits.
