Few would know that better than Owen Gamble. Faced with the struggle to do the right thing in his juvenile years, he chose to try to stay as far away from the street life as he could and graduate High School. Turning down gang invitation one after another, his list of enemies grew larger and larger. He finally made it through school using the wrestling team as an outlet for his energy. Upon graduating, Gamble decided it may not be safe for him to stay in Newark anymore and found a new home in south Florida. He started going to a gym which was coincidentally owned by the former UWL superstar, Avalanche. Gamble begged and pleaded with the former 3 time UWL champion to train him. Finally, Avalanche agreed. Gamble put in long hours of hard work with Avalanche, and when the time was ready, Avalanche came on UWL Friday Night Frenzy to introduce the young man. It would be the last time the UWL ever saw or heard from the Ice Man. Gimmick: What you see is what you get with Owen Gamble. He has seen enough in his young years to know that he does not need a gimmick to make his name known. He backs up his words with action and rarely says something unless he means it. Appearance: Owen is a bit above average in height, but he is very muscular. He is just light enough to qualify for the cruiserweight division, but he likes to play with the heavyweights. He has short cut dark blond hair and green eyes. His face shows his relatively young age. His ring attire is simple, usually just wearing black tights and black elbow and knee pads.
