| The Story T.V. Sound was founded in the summer of 2001by Bassist Michael Barba. An avid lover of the busteling Pop Music and Fashion scene, Michael somehow wanted to incorporate the two genres. Knowing he needed a couple of key ingredients, he searched high and low for the right members to reflect his strategies. He wrote several songs before meeting Guitarist Richard Mandel at Philadelphia hotspot Bar Noir. Richard already an acomplished guitarist himself, they soon became fast friends and writing partners. Richards catchy, hook-driven guitar riffs were just what the music needed. Shortly after meeting, they recruited vocalist Gaetan Sputnique, who they knew from the local club scene. Gaetan's vocals and animated sexual energy perfectly captures the raw electricity of the band. With pin-up charm and talent, T.V. Sound will surely lead the new pop generation. |
