Mary Smith, John Robison

The music of Turf Fire is rousing, fun and traditional.  We take our inspiration from groups like The Clancy Brothers, The Corries, The Dubliners, and the Kingston Trio.  Our repertiore is wide and varied - lively Irish sing-alongs, sea chanties, Scottish ballads, old style Appalachian music, and everything in between.

John Robison is an accomplished banjo player and teacher, and is a founding member of the group
Southern HorizonMary Smith is an accomplished solo musician specializing in traditional ballads.
