| This is a page about what I like to call an "overextended hobby". I have learned a lot from my Supra and will continue to keep learning. I bought my Supra back in 1989 (boy does time fly) to replace a 1978 Celica. The Celica was my first import car. It was also a starting point for me in "mechanical enhancements" (read: more ponies). It had the usual assortment of hi-po parts, such as dual Mikuni carbs, performance cam, ported head, header, and ignition. This was OK for the time being. But I needed more... A couple of years before I bought my Supra, I attended street races in different areas. One night I saw three Supras prepped by HKS. They were taking out all comers. All were turbocharged and packed with four people per car. Impressive... Well, where do you think I went after I got my Supra? :) Anyways, this page defines what happened after that fateful day at HKS. I'll also show you some of the fun and knowledge I picked up along the way... So sit down, buckle up, shut up, and hang on!!! |
