Fishing No permit is needed for coarse fishing on the Grand Canal (Pike, Bream etc.) . Trout fishing is available on the River Brosna, Pallas Lake, Lough Ennel. Salmon, Trout, Pike, Perch and Roach are to be found in the nearby Shannon river.
