Peterborough Depot is located to the north of the station and to the right of the ECML when traveling north.
A varierty of Motive power can be found here including class 66,60,56,47and 37.
Most trains on the ECML have Electric traction is usually class 91 but ocasionaly class 90.
Some GNER trains are Hst's, and now a new service to Leeds and York is running using Eurostar trains refurbished to GNER specification.
The electric suburban trains are WAGN class 365 units
Central trains and Anglia railways run the cross country service which is mainly class 170 units.
GBRF: Great Britain Rail Freight have moved to Peterborough, and will be stabling loco's at the Green shed in the west yard at Peterborough in between duties.
These loco's will be working infrastructure trains for Railtrack into east anglia from Peterborough mainly at weekends. |
