Highly Trained Marines
Identification Tags - ID TagsTechnically and Tactically proficient Marines, able to seek out, close with, and destroy the enemy by fire and manuever, and repel the enemy's assault by fire and close combat. But being a rifleman isn't all the HEPLT Marines are expected to know. HEPLT Marines are expected to know their equipment inside and out. They must know what their equipment is capable of under any conditions. This ensures that mission capability won't be hindered due to a lack of knowledge. In addition to the tactical and technical proficiency expected of them, they are also expected to exude the qualities outlined by the Commandant's Pillars of Leadership: HONOR, COURAGE, and COMMITMENT. Equipment operators are trained at MC Det, Fort Leonard Wood, MO

Quality Engineer Support
Tri-track DozerThe best in engineer equipment operating is found at the house of the LANDLORDS. The LANDLORDS utilize the best equipment the Marine Corps has to offer. Marines of the HEPLT not only learn their trade at school, but also are continuously trained and tested in the employment of new, more advanced items of equipment as their individual knowledge and skills grow.

Safe Work Environment
Spinning Hard Hat - created by www.webpromotion.comMarines of the HEPLT work under the safest of conditions. Work at the shop meets all Marine Corps and OSHA standards. Monthly and annual training is conducted to ensure that the Marines know what is safe and unsafe at all times. Knowledgeable supervisors also lend a hand to ensuring zero safety mishaps within the platoon. Suprise safety and county EPA inspections reinforce the fact that safety comes first at the HEPLT.
