Tremendous Teens of WNY, Inc. (TTWNY) is proud to announce the expansion of its Summer 2002 program. For the Summer of 2001, TTWNY operated exclusively within the Town of West Seneca. The program was restricted to residents of West Seneca and/or students of the West Seneca School District. This year, we have collaborated with two (2) additional site locations, St. John the Evangelist Church of South Buffalo and the Valley Community Association, so that we could open our program to young adults throughout Western New York.For the Summer of 2002, we again began our year with our very own unique progam design. We began with our mandatory Core Leadership Team (CLT) training. The CLT training is unique to TTWNY. After an application process, an interview and a commitment to the mandatory CLT training, our CLT members complete three (3) full days of team leadership training.
Although TTWNY is an adult organized and run non-profit organization, we have found that our program is highly successful and more fulfilling to the CLT members, becuase they are given the power to use the leadership skills they acquired during the CLT training to plan and impliment throughout the summer, the program that was designed by young adults for young adults. Even with adult supervision, the CLTs of 2001 enjoyed their program and found the same to be very rewarding. For the Summer 2002, the six (6) returning CLTs of the ten (10) from the Summer 2001, were joined this year by an additional thirty-four (34) CLTs.

SUMMER 2001 EVENTS
What is TTWNY doing this summer? We are running a summer program called SUMMER PRIME TIME, with the assistance of the Erie County Youth Board, the Town of West Seneca Youth Bureau, the Town of West Seneca Recreation Department and Americorps. The program runs from 2PM to 9PM Tuesday through Friday, from now until the end of August. Click on the calendar link below to view our up to date calendar of events.
