• Geocities - free e-mail and homepages. FortWorthStar, my mom, and my brother all have home pages here.

• CGI-City (CGI scripts) - if you're looking for scripts, guestbooks, counter, etc, etc, this is the place to start.

• XOOM's Clip Art Library - great, well-organized collection of animated gifs, buttons, lines, photos, etc for your web page.

• Microsoft's Web Tools and Samples Page - a good resource for backgrounds, sound clips, clip art, and more.

• Intel Web Applets - Intel has some really cool applets that you can use. The rotating, 3-D welcome text at the top of my home page is one of them. They also have a photo album, photo carousel, and photo effects applets.
