VIFON CHICKEN FLAVOR
Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar, anise, cinnamon, disodium 5' inosinate, disodium 5' guanylate
Oil Packet: palm oil, artificial chicken flavor
Dehydrated Mix: green onion
Spicyness: 1
Comment: These are the wider rice noodles that I have found to be quite good compared to the thinner rice noodles. The broth had a slight chicken flavor, but what I really tasted was cilantro. Which appears to be omitted from the ingredient list. Regardless, the broth was fantastic matched with the thicker rice noodles.

Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar, green onion, anise, cinnamon, disodium 5'-inosinate, disodium 5'-guanylate
Oil Packet: palm oil, artificial beef flavor
Spicyness: 1
Comment: The noodles in this ramen will be the wide rice kind. The broth had a slight beef flavor. Not much in the way of flavor in this one. Some saltiness and a little oily. The noodles were great, but the broth needs some work.

VIFON BEEF FLAVOR(HUE STYLE)
Season Packet: salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate, disodium 5' inosinate, disodium 5' guanylate, artificial beef flavor, citric acid, cinnamon, anise
Oil Packet: refined palm oil, artificial beef flavor, fine shrimp paste, beta carotene
Dehydrated Mix: spring onion, eryngium
Spicyness: 1
Comment: Another beef flavor from Vifon, is researched "hue style" and it appears to be the blending of rice and salt. Hue style foods tend to be salty from what I gather, and isn't that how ramen is anyway? The noodles were made from rice and held up well in the broth. The broth had a beefy flavor with a little pepper flavor in the background. The saltiness of the broth seemed to increase with every bite. There was some shrimp flavoring in the flavoring oil, but I did not detect any hint of it in the broth.

VIFON MI CHAY VEGETARIAN
Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar, disodium 5'-inosinate, disodium 5'-guanylate, pepper, chili
Oil Packet: palm oil(also contained shallot or garlic which was not listed)
Dehydrated Mix?: field pea, maize, bean curd(soya bean, water, salt), carrot, celery
Spicyness: 1
Comment: I was surprised by the variety of dehydrated veggies in this one. The noodles were made of wheat which was a nice change from all the rice noodles I have ate from Vifon. The noodles were delicious. The broth mostly had an intense salty flavor and I was disappointed in the veggies there was far to few of them. But this ramen was still pretty good even with not much flavor other than salt

VIFON NAM VANG
Soup Base: salt, fried onion, monosodium glutamate, sugar, disodium 5' inosinate, disodium 5' guanylate, pepper, chili
Dehydrated Mix: ingredients not listed
Seasoning Packet: ingredients not listed
Oil Packet: palm oil, onion
Spicyness: 1
Comment: I am not exactly sure what flavor "nam vang" is suppose to be, but obviously its going to be salty and not much else. I find it annoying that Vifon cannot list all the ingredients in their packets. The broth as expected had a salty flavor. The additional seasoning packets added an herby flavor and I found little pieces of "meat" in the broth that actually tasted like meat. The noodles were made of rice and held up well. Overall not bad, but you need to add some meat and veggies to kick this one up.

VIFON CHICKEN FLAVOR
Soup Base: salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate, artificial chicken flavor powder, garlic, chili, spring onion, pepper, disodium 5 inosinate, disodium 5 guanylate
Oil Packet: palm oil, shallot
Spicyness: 1
Comment: Another chicken flavor from Vifon, but this version is made with wheat noodles. The package was only 2.8 oz just enough for a nice snack size. The broth had a salty and slight chicken flavor. This reminded me of the cheap American ramen. Even the broth was a yellow color to simulate chicken broth. Not much in the way of veggies, just some green onion. Overall just your basic chicken flavor ramen.

VIFON PORK FLAVOR
Package Size: 2.8oz/81g
Soup Base:
The entire ingriedient list was in Vietnamese so I have no clue but I'm the usual MSG and salt.
Dehydrated Mix: not listed but found green onion, carrot and textured protein
Oil Packet: not listed but probably palm oil and shallot
Spicyness: 3
Comment: I just assume this is pork flavor by the looks of the nasty pork on the picture this must be the flavor. But don't let the  picture fool you. This is one tasty ramen! The broth had a salty and meaty flavor. At times the spicyness would come through and overwhelm the flavor, but for the most part a nice meaty flavor was present at most times. The veggies added a little texture as well as the textured protein were used to simulate pieces of pork. The pieces of protein were able to absorb the broth and swell and created a nice meaty morsel to bite into. Overall a great ramen from Vifon.

VIFON CRAB RICE PANCAKE
Package Size: 2.1oz/60g
Soup Base:
salt, monosodium glutamate, crab powder, sugar, shrimp powder, pepper, garlic,
Oil Packet: chili oil, cashew oil
Dehydrated Mix: leek, textured vegetable protein
Fried Onion Packet: fried onion
Spicyness: 1
Comment: I did not know what to expect from this ramen with the flavor being crab rice pancake. Not sure where the "pancake" comes from, I expected some kind of pancake to be included in the package but there was not. I assume this is a an acronym for the noodles. The noodles were the size of eggnoodles but had a brown color. The broth had an orangish color due to the chili oil which did not really add any spicyness just an oil feel. The flavor of the broth was salty with a nice onion flavor due to the fried onions. At times you could detect a seafood flavor which reminded you that this was crab flavored. There was an ample amount of TVP which was white and I would assume that this was suppose to simulate pieces of crab meat. This did add some texture to the broth. Overall another great ramen from Vifon.

Comment:
Tasty is made by Vifon it must be considered more of a snack size compared to the other Vifon noodles. The broth had a strong sour taste with a lemon background. A salty flavor emerges with a slight seafood flavor. Not much in the way of veggies just a few shallots. The noodles were your typical thinner style and held up nicely in the broth. Overall a tasty treat.

Comment: Tasty the snack size ramen from Vifon is good for when you have the late night munchies. That's what I had when I grabbed this out of the cupboard and prepared it. The broth had a salty and nutty flavor then a sesame and mushroom flavor emerged and tasted quite good. The noodles were your typical thin wheat kind made by Vifon, but they held up well in the broth. The broth with it's combinations of flavors just made this ramen delicious.

Comment: The tasty line from Vifon are snack sized ramen but they are quite tasty. The broth was your typical Vietnam style sour broth with a salty flavor which then led to a spicy chili flavor. Not much in the way of veggies execpt for some token green onion but with the addition of a few pieces this would easily turn into a more satisfying snack. Vifon is again on the mark with their Tasty lineup.
