COMMENT: This ramen has non fried noodles. So they are not as greasy as fried ramen. The noodles are wider than normal ramen. The broth has a gently spiceyness that surprised me. I thought it would have been hotter. The generous amount of vegetables make this a hardy ramen.

: Good quality noodles. The broth is very spicey. There's a slight beef overtone, but the spicyness overshadows it. I would have liked the vegetables in a separate packet. I think you don't get as much when the vegetables are in the season packet.

Comment: This ramen is prepared without a broth. The season packet is mixed in the drained noodles. The taste is quite spicy. There is a sesame oil taste also. This is quite tasty.

Comment: The broth was really spicy for this ramen. Samyang lives up to the challenge when they say hot & spicy. There was a large amount of vegetables, which I like. Other than the spicy flavor, not much else is detected. But good anyway.

Comment: This ramen doesn't have any broth. You drain the  noodles of water and stir in the paste. The paste with this ramen is really thick, and was hard to mix into the ramen without the water. I would recommend leaving a little water to help mix up the paste. There's a sweet soy sauce taste to the ramen. A little beef flavor in the background. Not spicy at all.

t: This ramen is a complete meal. There's so much dried vegetables and seafood, the packet it all came in was the size of a deck of cards. The noodles are thicker than regular ramen, but smaller than udon. The broth has a seafood flavor, but not fishy tasting. The shrimp are huge. And the bits of octopus is different. A tasty ramen.

Comment: Kimchee. My favorite Korean dish. Samyang does a good job with this ramen. The broth has a kimchee flavor. The taste of garlic and ginger are present at all times. The bits of kimchee flake add to the depth.

Comment: Another seafood flavor from Samyang. Not a strong seafood flavor, but it's in the background. There is a lot of vegetables included in the vegetable packet. I did have stirps of what looked like imitation crab meat. This was not listed. The little bits of cuttlefish provide a nice chewy texture. But, at times the spicyness overwhelmes the seafood flavor.

Comment: A lot of flavors make of the broth of this ramen. I can detect the presence of kimchi in the broth.  And a subtle pork flavor. The spicyness adds to the flavor. Also, there are a lot of vegetables included which make the ramen that much better.

Comment: Not sure what flavor this is suppose to be, I assume "hot" flavor. The broth is not made up of many ingredients, but is still very tasty. The spicyness is just right for this broth. Overall a nice simple ramen.

Comment: Another spicy offering from Samyang. The broth is pretty much the same as my review above. This one contains udon noodles. They have a good chewy texture and you better be hungry for this one. This makes a lot of noodles. The broth was very spicy, but good. As always from Samyang, the amount of dried vegetalbes is impressive. Lots of seaweed and the addition of the single piece provides a lot of flavor to the broth. A very good udon ramen.

Comment: A spicy offering from Samyang. This one comes with an additional packet of red pepper powder to increase the spicyness. Again red pepper powder was left out of the ingredient list of the first season packet. I used all of the 2nd season packet for the broth. The broth was very spicy and had a depth of flavors. The ample addition of flake, provided great flavor to the broth. The noodles were chewy and of good quality. A great ramen to try.

Comment: This offering from Samyang is ramen made of rice. Not just rice like some I have tried, there is still some wheat in the mixture. The noodles aren't as chewy as normal ramen, but hold up well in the soup. The broth has a spicy, slightly beefy flavor. An ample amount of veggies adds a lot of texture. A good ramen to try.

Comment: Not sure of the "flavor" of this ramen since the package never states what it is. The noodels are not fried like ramen normally is. They are wider, but just as good as fried noodles. The broth was a combination of spicyness, saltiness, and a slight garlic flavor. Again Samyang supplies a huge amount of dried veggie and they provide texture and depth to the broth. A great ramen from Samyang.

Comment: I was surprised by the color of the broth after fixing this offering from Samyang. It was a bright red which indicated a typical Korean ramen being spicy. I was just expecting a soybean paste flavor but as you can see by looking at the ingridient list quite a few things are missing. The flavor of the soybean and the red pepper spice matched up well together. This broth packed quite a punch with the spicyness but it was so good. There was a large amount of veggies which is typical of Samyang. The noodles are some of the best in the instant ramen buisness and they do not disappoint. Overall another winner from Samyang.

Comment: I believe Kalgugsu is a Korean soup made of seafood and noodles. The broth had a seafood smell to it and was clear which was going to be a nice change from the normal Korean spicy flavors. The taste was not as strong as the smell of seafood. A salty taste prevails over the seafood and a large amount of veggies help give you something to chew on. Samyang makes some of the better noodles and they are chewy and do not get soggy. Overall a simple broth which refreshes you.
