PALDO KIMCHI
SEASON PACKET: salt, red pepper, soy sauce, garlic powder, bean pasty powder, soy bean powder, onion powder, black pepper
VEGETABLE: cabbage, salted shrimp, onion, radish
SPICYNESS: 3
COMMENT: Nice flavor. Onion flavor is more pronounced than anything. The salted shrimp are made into a square sheet. They add a nice flavor to the noodle. Not overally spicy, but enough heat to wake up the taste buds.

PALDO DOSIRAC PORK FLAVOR
Season Packet: garlic powder, red pepper, soy sauce, monosodium glutamate, pork bone flavor
Dehydrated Mix: vegetable flake, textured vegetable protein
Spicyness: 2
Comment: What is dosirac? I have not a clue since a goodle search turned up really nothing. An interesting picture on the package with a Asian woman dressed in cooking clothes but looks more like a nurse to me. The ingredient list was not very accurate with several items missing from the season packet and referring to the dehydrated veggies as "vegetable flake". The season packet was a deep red color and I inspected a spicy broth, but actually was not that spicy. The broth had a meaty flavor to it with a salty background and a hint of spicyness. The real treat was the ample supply of little pieces of vegetable protein which was used to simulate pieces of pork. There were probably about 20 of them and they provided some nice chewy texture along with the noodles. The noodles held up well in the broth and I was pretty impressed with this square bowl from Paldo.

PALDO DOSIRAC SHRIMP FLAVOR
Season Packet: garlic powder, red pepper, salt, shrimp powder, monosodium glutamate, cuttlefish powder
Dehydrated Mix: textured vegetable protein(also found green onion which was not listed)
Spicyness: 2
Comment: Again with the translation issues, there appears to be several items missing from the ingredient label. One thing I did find odd, was the addition of the textured vegetable protein which look like tiny meatballs. Normally you find these in beef, pork and chicken flavors, but not in shriimp. And like the review above the sauce was a red color but spicyness was lacking. The broth had a salty and a slight meat flavor, but nothing I would call shrimp or seafood flavor. There was an ample amount of the meatballs, but they had a sweet flavor and just didn't seem to go with the shrimp theme. Overall a bland ramen.

PALDO SHRIMP FLAVOR
Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, red pepper, garlic powder, shrimp powder
Dehydrated Mix: onion, seaweed
Spicyness: 4
Comment: Another paldo bowl another picture of a nurse. Also I am sure the ingredient list is not translated correctly since not much is listed in the season packet. When preparing the ramen it came with a huge pack of vegetable flake which is nice to have. The broth had an overwhelming spicy flavor to it. So much in fact my throat burned well after eating this ramen. Unfortunately due to the fact of the spicyness not much flavor is detected maybe a slight salt flavor, but the shrimp flavor never appears. The huge pack of vegetables did help with the texture but it would have been nice for Paldo to include some little shrimps in it. Overall not a bad ramen but not a shrimp flavored one either.

PALDO KIMCHI KING CUP
Bowl Size: 3.88oz/110g
Season Packet:
salt, monosodium glutamate, kimchi seasoning powder, whey powder, garlic powder, black pepper, ginger powder, red pepper seed oil powder
Dehydrated Mix: kimchi, welsh onion
Spicyness: 4
Comment: One of my earlier reviews was for a smaller kimchi bowl from Paldo, now they have the king cup size if you just cannot get enough of that spicy red pepper flavor. Right from the start the broth had a spicy kick that just burns your mouth. After a few minutes the flavors of kimchi comes through. A sourish flavor emerges to go with the spicy flavor of the broth. The good thing about Paldo is they put a lot of dehydrated veggies in their bowl There was a huge amount of kimchi and onion which just added to the flavor of the broth. The noodles were your standard ramen and held up well in the broth. Overall I liked this one better than my earlier review of the kimchi bow from Paldo.

Bowl Size: 3.17oz/90g
Season Packet: onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper, soy sauce(ssoybean, salt, water), monosodium glutamate
Dehydrated Mix: cabbage, scallion, textured vegetable protein
Spicyness: 3
Comment: As the norm goes with imported ramen the ingredient list obviously is missing a few things, namely salt as the number one ingredient. My past 2 reviews of the dosirac style of ramen has not been that good. I was hoping this one would be better and it actually was. The broth had a nice beefiness to it with a little garlic flavor underneath. But once you swallowed the spicyness comes through and burns slightly. There was a huge amount of the TVP which sometimes is ok, but for some reason all the TVP is what made this ramen delicious. With each bite all the TVP took on the flavor of beef and helped increase the texture feel of the ramen. Also, there was a fair amount of cabbage which added texture and some flavor also. Overall a big improvment for Paldo with these dosirac bowls.

PALDO DOSIRAC BEEF FLAVOR
PALDO KING BOWL HOT & SPICY
Bowl Size: 3.88oz/110g
Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, red pepper, glucose, soy sauce powder(soybean, water, salt), bean paste powder, black pepper, green onion, carrot
Spicyness: 4
Comment: This is one of the bigger ramen bowls I have reviewed. I was a little surprised there was not as much noodles as I had thought, but this made a lot of broth. The flavor is your typical spicy korean style it's salty and spicy. Nothing complicated about the broth it is straight to the point. There was a large amount of veggies but some of them are not listed in the ingredient list which is the case with imported ramen. There was pieces of puffed rice which had a slight fishy taste which provided a change of taste to the spicyness. The noodles were chewy and held up well in the broth. Overall another good offering of korean ramen.

Comment:
This ramen has rice noodles which is a bit of a change for Korean ramen. The broth had a fishy smell and tasted fishy and salty. There was a spicyness but even it was overpowered by the fish flavor. A good amount of veggies were present. The rice noodles tend to clump together making them difficult to eat. Overall, not one of my favorites from Paldo.
