PALDO GOMTANG
Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, glucose, red pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, onion flake, water
Flake: none
Spicyness: 1
Comment: Gomtang is a Korean beef soup. The season packet is liquid base and I was disappointed that there was no flake. But the season packet did contain a little bit of onion. The broth is clear and a little greasy. There is a beef flavor, but very subtle. I do believe the ingridient list has omitted a few things, like beef flavor and the oil. There is really no hint of spicyness, and the broth could use a more stronger flavor. Not a bad ramen, but not strong in flavor.

PALDO BIBIIM MEN
Package Size: 4.58oz/130g
Season Packet:
sesame oil, red pepper paste, mustard powder, monosodium glutamate, onion paste, garlic paste, apple juice
Spicyness: 5
Comment: There is an apple in the bottom right corner claiming that there is now 5% more apple juice in the soup. Technically this ramen does not have a soup base the season packet is liquide base and you drain the water off of the noodles when mixing them together. After mixing the two together the flavor off the noodles was an intense spicyness. A little sweetness came through but for the most part this was one hot ramen. The noodles were chewy and a little thin for a packaged style ramen. Overall not bad you will want to add some additional items with the noodles such as egg and veggies but be prepared for the spicyness.

PALDO HOT & SPICY
Package Size: 4.23oz/120g
Season Packet: salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar, capsicum powder, soybean sauce powder, yeast extract powder, black pepper, ginger powder, red pepper
Dehydrated Mix: green onion, mushroom, carrot, red pepper, cabbage
Spicyness: 4
Comment: Another hot and spicy flavor from a Korean ramen Paldo may not be as popular as Samyang or Nong Shim but they are good brand name in ramen. The broth was a bright red which meant only one thing, spicy. The first bite was spicy and salty tasting but there was also a depth to the broth. This is something I like about Korean ramens its just not all spicy there are a lot of flavors in the background. The veggies added a sweetness but mostly there was an intense spicy flavor. The noodles were chewy and soaked up the spicy broth which in turn made every bite I took sweat more and more. Overall a great spicy treat from Paldo.

PALDO STIRFRIED KIMCHI
Soup Base: monosodium l-glutamate, sugar, ginger powder, black pepper powder, kimchi base, hot sauce powder, garlic extract
Kimchi Pouch: kimchi
Spicyness: 4
Comment: I am not sure if Paldo left of salt in the ingredient list but with 2400mg listed I am sure it should be number 1, but of course MSG should be second it just would not be ramen if it wasn't. Paldo included a real pouch of kimchi not the dehydrated stuff that you normally get. The package smelled sour and was a little scary looking. After mixing everything together the broth had a spicy sourish smell to it. Which reminded me of Korean restaraunts using their old sour kimchi to make kimchi stew with. The flavor of the broth was salty and sourish with and somewhat oily. The spicyness hits next and is quite intense. The noodles were chewy and held up well in the broth. This ramen reminds me of kimchi stew but may turn some people off with the sour kimchi flavor.
