Comment: I was surprised when I picked up this ramen that it came with a pack of crackers. This will be my first review of such a thing. The broth had a nice garlic and meaty flavor, which I am always surprised when they say this is made with beef flavor when the flavor is pork. I guess when it comes to artificial ingredients its all the same. There was a fair amount of the textured veggie protein in the broth to simulte pieces of pork. And these did kinda taste like meat. The crackers were hard but I soon discovered that dipping them in the broth allowed them to soak up that meaty flavor and the crackers were quite delicious that way. After eating this ramen, crackers are pretty darn good in ramen.

Comment:
Sotanghon is a noodle soup with a chicken flavor as the base. In ramen terms artificial chicken flavor. The noodles for this ramen were the mungbean kind and my experience in past reviews with them are that they are a little difficult to eat. The same goes for these also, all the noodles seem to clump together when you put them on your fork or a chopstick. I'm not sure if Lucky Me put the wrong picture on the bowl but I found it a little strange to have a pictures of shrimp when the flavor is chicken. The broth had a chicken flavor but not that strong of one with a peppery background to it. The additon of the oil packet made the broth have a little oily feel to it. The dehydrated carrots added a little texture. The only problem I have is with the noodles. They are just a little difficult to eat as a soup. Overall a good ramen.
