2004 2004 2004 For 2004, TTARS is trying something different. The Secretary, 9Y4KLF, has accepted the responsibility to be the Net Manager. In addition, 9Z4GS has volunteered to be Ass. Net Manager. The Net Manager determines the Net Controller on a basis too dynamic to post here. The method varies, from making prior arrangements with a station to be Net Control, to calling for volunteers "on-frequency" just prior to the net. So far it is working just as well or better than the more formal roster system used in 2003. If you wish to get your feet wet an help out with as a Net Controller. Please contact 9Y4KLF directly. We will recognise the more active Net Controllers here (on the advice of the Net Manager) NOTE - Email addresses posted here need to be modified before use. | Roster of Net Controllers for TTARS Sunday Nets There are 3 nets each Sunday which need to be controlled by / from Trinindad & Tobago. These are: 1030Z - 7162kHz - "The Caribbean Emergency and Weather Net" 1300Z - 7159kHz - "The Hummingbird Net" 2359Z - 147.93Mhz (-600kHz) - "The TTARS, Sunday evening, 2 meter Net" It is the duty of the rostered person to arrange a replacement net-controller if they are unable to take up duty to run any of these nets when scheduled. |
