TSUNAMI RUGBY is a Kobe Japan based rugby company which deals with "everything and anything to do with rugby - though we do also offer some of our services to other sports".

We offer custom designed playing kit and shirts at a far lower price than is available in Japan. The Kobe Regatta and Athletic Club, the Tokyo Gaijin Rugby Club, the Kansai Highland Games, the Ramsay Pipe Band, and the Gumma JETS are just some of our clients and we are in the process of designing uniforms for a Kobe based volleyball team and a tennis academy. Rugby shirts, polo shirts,  t-shirts are all available as are other custom orders.

In addition TSUNAMI RUGBY is the official Japanese distributor for Optimum, rugby equipment supplier to top players such as Lawrence Dallaglio and Christophe Lamaison and to teams such as the British Lions, England, Scotland and the Western Stormers. Optimum products are designed and worn by professionals and are essential for players who play on the hard gravel grounds of Japan.

We can also arrange tours for Japanese teams interested in touring overseas and for foreign teams interested in touring Japan. We are the representatives for travel companies based in the UK and Australia that specialize in sporting tours and act as the guides once the teams arrive in Japan. Individual players looking to go overseas or come to Japan can also be catered for.

With clubs hit by the economic slowdown TSUNAMI have set up their own touring team. The TSUNAMI TEETOTALLERS have entered tournaments in Hong Kong, Guam, Manila and Pattaya and come away with a plethora of silverware. The TT'S are open to any player wherever they are based - past Teetotallers have included players from Japan, Guam, Saipan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the USA, England, Scotland, Thailand, Cambodia, Canada, Australia...even a Frenchman!!!! TSUNAMI RUGBY is run by Rich Freeman and Kyle Podziewski. Rich is chief rugby writer for the Japan Times and Japanese correspondent for  New Zealand Rugby News and UK Rugby World; while Kyle is the only ex US Marine to have captained and coached the Cambodian national team. Both are still active players in Japan.
