Part 2

Tuesday: Dangerous Games

Under the pale moonlight, Aya slowly walked toward his car. The night's events had
seemed to surreal to him, and ever since Aya-chan's kidnapping, he'd spent all his time
desparately seaching for clues to her whereabouts. His head hurt, and he just wanted to
rest. He still was unsure of the German's true motive, but he proved true to his word up to
this point, which unnerved Aya somewhat. The red-head slumped over the wheel, sleep
slowly claiming him as he attempted to sort out his thoughts.

Schuldich slowly strolled through the front door of the condo he shared with the other
members of Schwartz. He spotted Crawford seated on a sofa, reading a book.
"You're home late." The American's voice hinted at curiosity and accusation.
"Searching for info." the red-head flatly replied.
"Oh?"
"Nothing much. Weiß only has 3 members now, so they won't be as much trouble if they
decide to get in our way again."
Crawford gave a silent nod as the German stretched and headed for his room.
"Oyasumi. Don't stay up too late; you'll strain you eyes." Schuldich grinned at his leader
before disappearing around a corner. Crawford soon follwed, placing the book on a
nearby table and returning to his room, pausing briefly in front of Schuldich's door.

"On second thought...I care not to know." the leader of Schwartz shook his head, walking
on to his room.

The red-headed Schwartz member flopped down on his bed, sighing heavily. What a
night it had been! Removing his yellow headband and shades, he placed them on the
nightstand near his bed, where the roses he'd bought earlier were placed in a clear blue
vase. Schuldich stretched on his bed once more, replaying the day's events in his mind.
He hadn't lied to Crawford; Weiß DID only have 3 members now, but he was sure that
the American had his suspicions, or had a vision about everything else that occured. Oh
well. Considering all that HAD occured, his increasing attraction to the pale ex-Weiß
member made everything all the more interesting. He was sure that the younger red-head
thought he was either lying, playing with his mind, or both--A problem he would soon
rectify. The other problems were that his fellow teammates wouldn't approve of his
interest in their enemy, and there was always the possibility that the pale red-head would
re-join Weiß.

"Guess that just makes the game more exciting..."

He chuckled to himself thinking back to when Aya had pounced him. Their extreme
closeness, the younger red-head blushing like a schoolgirl. It was cute.

He was NOT thinking at all like Schuldich. The Schwartz member who controlled other's
minds, and took pleasure at manipulating people's thoughts usually didn't refer to his
enemies as cute. Shaking his head, he paused for a few moments as a mischevious grin
crept upon his face.

*****

Aya could hear laughter. Opening his eyes, he gasped as he took in the scenery around
him. He was at the festival, Aya-chan smiling at him as she tugged him along.

~A dream?~

"Ran-niichan!! Over here!" Her cheerful voice beckoned him. Laughing, he approached
her, when a bright light struck him, blinding him for a few moments. Once the light
vanished, he slowly opened his eyes, his face contorting into horror at the scene before
him.
~No. . . please! ANYTHING but this!~ He shouted as his dream slowly
progressed into the nightmare that was all too real. A car's distant headlights shone
through the dark, rainy night, heading straight for his sister. He could feel his heart
breaking as the car hit his sister, her body flying high into the air, and then hitting the
ground with a sickening thud. The red-head shut his eyes, tears flowing freely down his
face.

"AYA!!!!!!!"

Upon opening his eyes again, he found himself sitting on a bed, long white curtains
flowing around him gently in a breeze that came from nowhere. No walls were in sight.
On the other end of the bed sat his sister, smiling gently at him. She spoke, but no sound
came from her mouth. He reached out towards her, but the bed they were sitting on
streched out farther away from him, and he watched his sister disappear under the
flowing white fabric.

"AYA!!! WAIT!"

Aya called out to her in vain, tears rolling down his pale face once more.

"What can you do alone. . .?"

Aya froze as that nasal voice echoed through the air again. He slowly turned his head to
see the red-headed Schwartz member standing behind him, leaning on one hip with his
head cocked back slightly. Schuldich leaned forward and whispered into Aya's ear, his
warm breath tickling the younger man's pale skin.

"I understand you the most. I can help you..."

It felt so real that it was terrifying. Reason was shouting at Aya to run, but he couldn't
move. Looking down, he was surprised that his clothes had changed to his assassin outfit.
The German's lips slightly touched Aya's ear as he bit back a moan.

"S-sick...bastard..."
Schuldich laughed slightly, his left arm draped over the younger red-head's chest.
"Still think I'm lying? If wanting to help you makes me a sick bastard, so be it." He
leaned further, fiery locks brushing against Aya's face. The younger ex-Weiß member
shut his eyes tightly, silently cursing Schuldich and his body for reacting to the Schwartz
member's touch. "You'll find nothing alone."
Schuldich stepped back, slowly retreating under the curtains, his laughter softly filling
the area before it vanished altogether.

"Remember my words. . ."

Amethyst and jade globes opened to the warm sunlight. Aya sat up, breathing heavily and
sweating, his mind racing. Schuldich lazily blinked a few times, grinning to himself.
"Went better than I thought."

Aya sat in his car, staring into space. Damn him! The young red-head didn't know the
German had the power to invade dreams as well. If that was really JUST a dream... it had
felt so real. Schuldich leaning over him, blowing in his ear, soft red hair brushing against
his face...had he acutally...ENJOYED it? Aya slammed his fist against the wheel, cursing
under his breath. This was probably another one of his sick mind games...wasn't it? If so,
why did he suddenly want...NEED Schuldich touch him again so badly?
