Houston, TX - - Texas Southern women's basketball dropped their exhibition opener to the Houston Jaguars 78-59 in the H&PE Arena. LaTasha Thompson led the Tigers with 15 points and five rebounds. Menomanee Smith added 14 points and six rebounds. Rolanda "Coco" Wilson came off the bench to score 11 points on five for 11 shooting. Texas Southern will open the season, 7 p.m., Friday, November 17 against Tougaloo College.
