Texas Southern University Men's Basketball player Marquel Timmons will represent TSU at the National Association of Basketball Coaches Student Basketball Council Meeting, September 9-10 in Dallas, Texas. Timmons is one of 37 collegiate basketball players selected to participate in the conference. The sophomore from Longview started five games last season and averaged 85 percent from the free throw line. In 1999, Timmons was the men's basketball scholar-athlete of the year.
