Houston, TX - - Texas Southern men's and women's golf team finished first in the Texas SWAC Fall Classic, November 7-8 in Houston, Texas. The men's team led the field with a 593 score. Sophomore Ruben Stewart placed first with a 74-70-144 score. Placing on the All-Tournament team for the men were Ruben Stewart, Shelby Armstrong, Brian Ladet, Charles Garland and Andrew Tomchuk. The women's team defeated Southern University 702-801. First-year golfer Katrina Edwards finished in first place with 84-77-161 score. All-Tournament women members were Katrina Edwards, Andercia Moody, Gina Lee, Tammy Johnson and Amber McNeil.
