Native American Student Association

Welcome

Texas State Technical College Waco offers a variety of courses, degree plans, and enrollment options (distance learning and traditional classes). The TSTC Waco campus is filled with students, faculty, and staff from varying social, cultural, and educational backgrounds. The Native American Student Association (NASA) is an official student organization which has this mixture as a core support. NASA earnestly believes in expanding friendship and culture to all who are interested in learning about the Native American culture.

Membership into the tribe is open to all individuals regardless of nationality, race or creed. All members of the tribe must be willing to learn and accept others as this is the key component of the Native American tribal system. Being a member of a Native American tribe is not just a membership in a club or organization, it is about being a part of a family that shares and cares about all human beings and the balance of nature.

NASA was chartered by students of varied cultural and ethnical backgrounds to enlighten others about the social customs of the Native American culture and how it has impacted their lives. The NASA tribe embraces friendship and fellowship with other students by exchanging information about the beliefs of the Native Americans way of life. NASA tribal members accomplish this by meeting new people and interaction socially with other students in various manners. NASA welcomes any suggestions on content or additional information for this site..
