I Charles W Augustin of Morgan County Illinois Aged Fiftythree years make this my last will.

First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Hellen for and during her lifetime all my Personal and real Estate (Except the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 36 given to Isaac Lemings as hereinafter mentioned) And direct that all my just debts be paid and that within a reasonable time a Monument be placed at my grave not to exceed the cost of Five Hundred Dollars to be of Granite of the form of an oblong square well made and of good finish with the description of my Name date of birth and death and similar inscriptions of my first wife Ruth, My Father, Father Brothers George and Cornelius and Sister Christina Brumley. And after the death of my present wife that her name be placed thereon should she be buried there. The foundation of said Monument to be built of good rock and cement four feet Deep and sufficently large to support said Monument and to be even with the top of the ground.

Second I give devise and bequeath to My Nephew Isaac Lemings and his heirs The North West quarter of the South East quarter of Section Thirty Six (36) in Township Sixteen (16) North and Range Thirteen (13) Morgan County Illinois Provided I leave no issue.

Third I give devise and bequeath to Archibald Taylor and his heirs, after the death of my wife, provided I leave no issue, The North West quarter of the South East quarter of Section Thirty five (35) And the last one third part of the South half of the South West quarter of the North East quarter of section Thirty Six (36) being 6. 2/3 acres more or less.

Fourth I give devise and bequeath to Eugene Davis and his heirs after the death of my wife provided I leave no issue The North East quarter of the south East quarter of said Section Thirty five (35) and the Middle one third part of the South half of the South West quarter of the North East quarter of said Section Thirty six (26) being 6 2/3 acres more

Fifth, I give devise and bequeath to Clark Taylor and his heirs after the death of my wife, provided I leave no issue Sixty Eight (68) acres more or less off the North part of the South West quarter of Section Thirty Six (36) (Excepting what lies North of Spring run and West of the Public Road) Also the West one third part of the South half of the South West quarter of the North East quarter, of said Section Thirty Six (36) being 6 2/3 acres more or less

Sixth I give devise and bequeath to Charles Davis and his heirs, after the death of my wife provided I leave no issue, The South part of the North West quarter of Section Thirty-Six (36) and all that part of the South West quarter of said section Thirty six (36) which lies North of Spring run and West of the public Road. (Excepting forever, The family burying ground described as follows to wit beginning 12 rods West of the N W corner of the South half of the South West quarter of the N E 1/4 of said section Thirty six (36) running six (6) rods North thence Four (4) rods West thence South Six (6) rods thence East four (4) rods to the place of beginning. Seventh if Archibald Taylor should die leaving no lawful issue, his part shall go to his Brother Clark P Taylor and his heirs and if Clark P Taylor should die leaving no lawfui heirs, his part shall go to his Brother Archibald and his hers and in the Event that both die no lawful issue their inheritance shall go to Eugene and Charles Davis and their heirs share alike.

Eighth In the event of the Death of Eugene Davis ////////////// with out leaving lawful issue, his portionshall go to his Brother Charles Davis and his heirs and should the Said Charles Davis die, leaving no lawful issue, his inheritance shall go to his Brother Eugene Davis and If both of them should die leaving no lawful issue, their inheritance shall go to Archibald and Clark P Taylor and their heirs

Ninth, If Isaac Lemings should die without any lawful issue, his part to go to Archibald and Clark P Taylor and to Eugene and Charles Davis.

Tenth That the Said legatees Isaac Lemings Archibald and Clark P Taylor and Eugene and Charles Davis and their heirs shall have a Free Cartway to and from their land

Eleventh, In the event that I should an issue at the time of my death then this will be null and void.

Twelfth I hereby appoint my wife Hellen Executrix of this my last will and Direct that the Honorable Court shall not require any bond for Administration of this will, and that no appraisement be made of the property.
