Troop 220 Links

Other Scouting Links

•   Troop 220 is comprised of 20 boys, 8 Leaders, and 8 Committee Members. We are located at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. Our Charter Representative is the Air Force's 93rd Air Control Wing (Joint STARS) Group. We meet every Tuesday at 7pm at one of the houses that the Air Force provides for all the Scouting Orgaizations on base. Troop 220 was established at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia, in 1957. The Scoutmaster at the time was Mr. J.R. Brown.

•   The boys run the Troop under the guidence of the Scoutmaster, Mr. Darrell Smith. Each meeting starts with an opening ceremony and comments from the Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, and any Committee members present. The boys then start planning for upcoming events (see Calender), activities, or they work on their merit badge requirements. Afterward, the boys have free time to play games or sports. At the end of the meeting, we retire the colors and make announcements or closing comments.

•   Scouting promises you the great outdoors, friendship, opportunities to work toward the Eagle Scout rank, and the tools to help you make the most of your family, community, and nation. Scouting also promises you experiences and duties that will help you mature into a strong, wise adult. Adventure, learning, challenge, responsibility - the promise of Scouting is all this and more. If you are ready for the adventure to begin, contact us at (912) 328-3038.
