I begged my mother for years for a dog......and finally when I was in high school she and I struck a deal, a semester of straight A's for a dog. Well it took two tries thanks to a tricky Spanish class that I couldn't get above that B+, but I finally did it. After pooring over breed books, I decided on a sheltie. He was named Sport, a sweet gentle little guy that didn't care for much training, but loved walks and barking at the clouds in the sky. My goofy golden retriever Champ came along with my husband when I got married in 1998. It was with Champ that I really started to get invoved in agility and obedience competitions.
When I decided it was time to add another dog, I didn't even have to consider what breed, I had been "eyeing" the border collie breed for years and soon added my first border collie "Chase" to our home. I fell in love with him and the breed and knew that my house would always be filled with at least one border collie from that moment on. What I didn't realize was that I would soon have a household full of them!
