Dear readers,

You might be wondering what happened to this website? Well I will now explain why it is not here anymore. I was supposed to bring it back up today - April 17, 2005 - however I changed my mind for a few reasons.

First, I have to get up every weekday morning at 5:30AM to go to work in Brooklyn. I live in Queens, and a subway ride to Bensonhurst is about an hour, and my job starts at 8AM. It is very difficult for me to update this website on a daily basis after getting up very early in the morning to work an eight hour day, then commute one hour back home and have my only focus on baseball. There are other things I'd like to do as well. I ust realized it would not work out.

Second, even I have to admit it is time for a change. "Oh but Cat what do you mean?" I'm still at GeoCities, which isn't a bad thing - I love their service, I mean it's much better than Angelfire. The only problem is that if I want to ever get this website recognized over at Yahoo's directory - I may need to go with my own domain. In addition - even I get annoyed with all the pop-ups that appear when I view my own website - so I can only imagine how frustrated you must get.

I know my fellow Yankee fans have been good - you have not given me one word of criticism - even though you have every right to. But I want you to have the best - not some half-a**ed job from a guy who can't be bothered on some nights. You do not deserve a site that isn't up-to-date - on the contrary - you deserve the best.

The only people I care about are Yankee fans. These are the only people I want to hear from concerning this website. Non-Yankee fans, those of you who have complimented my site, I thank you and I appreciate it. Yankee haters I do not give a rat's behind about! Just as you don't give a damn about me, I don't give a damn about you! If you hate this website, then I have done my job. I didn't create this website to appease you - I created it as an alternative for Yankee fans who are sick and tired of the anti-New York bias in general and anti-Yankee bias in particular seen on all the national sports outlets. Nobody has forced you or even asked you to come to this website - you did it out of your own free will.

To yankeefansarecrybabies@gmail.com, I will get my own domain whenever I feel like it, not when you tell me to! Since when do I listen to vermin like you? And if you were a real man you'd let the world know your real name - I always sign my name on my writings. By the way, how many other Yankee fan webmasters have you e-mailed with your comments, or am I the only one? If you're some sodomite who is in love with me, I don't swing that disgusting way - I believe in the bible. If not, when I do get my own apartment in the near future, your wife is very much welcome to come over and spend the night for some Yankee re-education if you know what I mean.

To my fellow Yankee fans, this site will be back in the near future. Once I can get a better working computer I will get my own domain - this way you will have a shorter address to remember, you will have a nicer design, and this site will see more hits. Yankee haters will rue the day I get my own domain - because if I get a hold of their e-mail addresses, they will get flooded with e-mails from Yankee fans - because we stick together! However I do have some good news - I will continue to write my op/ed piece - "The Gospel According to 'L'", and those of you who still need help getting to Yankee Stadium via New York City transit - the directions page is still up and running, and it actually got more hits than the front page did. I don;t know if there will be a Gospel this week - but there will definately be one on April 24 or 25. That I will not stop doing - the Gospel will always live, no matter what.

My friends, this site will be back - but when I do not know. Thank you for all your support and I hope to see you again sometime - Let's Go Yankees!
