Welcome to the Taipei American School (TAS) Tri-M Music Honor Society web-page.

Tri-M stands for Modern Music Masters.  Tri-M is an international music honor society with 4,500+ chapters that promotes music and service.

TAS is a K-12 international school with ~2,200 students from ~50 countries.  We are located in Taiwan's capital city and follow an American curriculum. Instruction is in English.

The TAS Music Department has 10 full-time and two part-time faculty (plus a great secretary!) from five countries.  We have ~475 musicians in 11 Band classes, over 500 grade 3-12 String players, and ~300 students enrolled in grade 6-12 choirs.  AP and IB Music is also taught in the Upper School.
