Our Darling Angel

I thank the Lord for you each day.
Even though you were unable to stay.

From the day you were born, you touched our heart
Our world was crushed when you had to part.

The day will come that I will watch you play
On the streets of gold where there is no night, only day.

Even though here on earth you are gone forever
I know that someday we will be together.

As we go on to our next tomorrow
Without you our hearts will be in such sorrow.

Although you were here only a short time,
You have changed our hearts and mind.

You are special, unique and even rare.
But you were exactly what we asked for in our prayer.

Thank you Lord for this small prize
Even though short blessings realized.

Be sure to remember Trevor dear
When you hold Jesus’s hand mommy is near.

We love you,
Our Darling Angel.

Trevor

Looks so cute, smells so sweet.
With gorgeous eyes, and tiny feet.

You took our hearts, and made them swell.
As our love for you is strong, I know now your well.

You left us for heaven so early,
but in our hearts you’ll stay.
The younger ones may not understand,
but us over nine mourned all of the first day.

Now your in the Lords hands, but still in your family’s heart.
One life for your may have ended, but for another it’s a start.

For now our heart is in heaven where it will stay.
Rest in peace little one, we’ll miss you everyday.

We love you Trevor!

I didn't get to hold your hand,
or legs on which you'd never stand,
Young Trevor child I am the man,
That you call Uncle Jimmy.

So young the fighter, brave and strong,
you fought that fight so very long,
but now its over, and you are gone,
but yet I feel you're in me.

Can whispers travel through the night?
Will God provide me with the might?
Could I have fought, that kind of fight?
I think I'd been more wimpy.

I leave you now, my young nephew,
you've probably got allot to do,
a hero's work is never through,
with a heart that's never empty.

The loss between both you and I,
is not for you, no its all mine,
but you can visit anytime,
just ask for Uncle Jimmy.

PRECIOUS CHILD

Words and Music by Karen Taylor-Good

In my dreams, you are alive and well
Precious child, precious child
In my mind, I see you clear as a bell
Precious child, precious child
In my soul, there is a hole
That can never be filled
But in my heart, there is hope
'Cause you are with me still

In my heart, you live on
Always there never gone
Precious child, you left too soon
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart

In my plans, I was the first to leave
Precious child, precious child
But in this world, I was left here to grieve
Precious child, my precious child

In my soul, there is a hole
That can never be filled
But in my heart there is hope
And you are with me still

In my heart you live on
Always there, never gone
Precious child, you left too soon,
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart

God knows I want to hold you,
See you, touch you
And maybe there's a heaven
And someday I will again
Please know you are not forgotten until then

In my heart you live on
Always there never gone
Precious child, you left too soon
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart

I'm down on my knees again tonight,
I'm hoppin' this prayer will turn out right.
See, there is a boy that needs Your help.
I've done all that I can do myself
His mother is tired,
I'm sure You can understand.
Each night as he sleeps
She goes in to hold his hand,
And she tries
Not to cry
As the tears fill her eyes.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place some how.
See, he's not just anyone, he's my son.

Sometimes late at night I watch him sleep,
I dream of the boy he'd like to be.
I try to be strong and see him through,
But God, who he needs right now is You.
Let him grow old, Live life without this fear. What would I be
Living without him here?
He's so tired,
And he's scared
Let him know that You're there.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place some how.
See, he's not just anyone, he's my son.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place somehow.
See, he's not just anyone.

Can You hear me?
Can You see him?
Please don't leave him,
He's my son.

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say.

"A Mother has a baby"
This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother,
When your baby's not with you?"

"Yes, you can," He replied
With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.

Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day.
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay."

"I just don't understand this God
I want my baby to be here."
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.

"I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child's smile,
With all the other children and say...

'We go to Earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much,
I got to come straight here.

I feel so lucky to have a Mom,
Who had so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My Mommy set me free.

I miss my Mommy oh so much,
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow's where I lay

I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear.
Mommy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here.'

"So you see my dear sweet ones,
your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My Home,
And this is where they'll stay.

They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lesson's through.
And on the day that you come home
they'll be at the gates for you.

So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart
it's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.

Though some on earth may not realize,
you are a Mother.
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day
and know that you are the best one!"
