My favorite songs on this 13 track cd are the first two, "Too Far" and "Upside Down." They both have really catchy lyrics and vocal patterns that sometimes follow the music and other times have such a strong contrast that the sound is beautiful. Singer/guitarist Trevor Garvey has a very original singing voice that I can't relate to any other singer in the music industry. From a major stretch in tone in the chorus of "22 Years" to a faster distorted vocal sound in "Alone" this cd shows major vocal talent in this band. And the talent doesn't stop there. In every song there is a catchy guitar riff to put together the last piece of the puzzle. On this cd there is a lot of cool music techniques that I haven't seen many bands try before and it sounds really good. Of course, at times they have their similarities to other bands in the scene but this cd totally blew me away. It was a whole lot better than I expected.
