December 22nd- Non-Conference Game
vs. #1 Illinois

The game started off to at a slow pace, with each team struggling to score.  But with about five minutes remaining in the first half, Illinois went on a run.  They went into the locker room with a commanding double digit lead, and it looked like another Illini blowout.  But the Tigers came out firing in the second half and chipped away.  Linas Kleiza played great scoring 25 points and going to the line a ton of times.  Kevin Young had a tough time catching the ball, but kept us in the game with great defense and diving for loose balls.  Jason Horton played a stellar point, and hit some clutch threes down the stretch.  Mizzou had a lot of oppurtunitys at the end to close the deficit, but failed to do so.  Too many dumb turnovers and careless passing did this team in, and spoiled any hope of an upset.  But you have to be happy with how well they played in the second half against the Illini, and how this team continues to play great defense.

December 19th- Non-Conference Game
vs. Indiana

Mizzou fell behind early, and it looked like another lackluster loss.  In the first half, MU only scored 16 points and shot less than 20%.  But then in the second half the tigers erupted, in a 10 minute strectch during the second half, UI failed to make a field goal.  Linas had another big game leading the team in scoring.  Kevin Young was a beast underneath, and JMAC played a pivotal role in the comeback.  The final play of the game was the highlight though, Linas Klieza stole the ball from a driving Bracey Wright, and threw it down the court to Marshall Brown, who ended the game emphatically with a 360 dunk at the buzzer.

December 11th- Non-Conference Game
vs. Montana

Linas Kleiza was awesome yet again.  Scoring a career high 26 points.  The team wasn't that bad either.  Shooting much better at a 48% clip overall.  Kalen Grimes had his coming out party in front of the Mizzou faithful, scoring a career high 12 points, and getting some huge blocks.  Mizzou played much better on defense and offense, the game was never close, and the Tigers finally gave someone a beating.

December 7th- Non-Conference Game
vs. Arkansas

A good crowd showed up at the game for the first time during the young season,  but the Missouri offense must have forgotten there was a game.  The tigers shot a miserable 30% fromt the field.  Linas Kleiza was the only bright spot, scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.  The Tigers had too many lapses on defense, allowing easy alley-oops, and started off each half with horrible scoring droughts.

December 4th- Non-Conference Game
vs. Oakland

The Tigers won their second straight as they held off the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland for their 4th win of the season.  The Tigers got off to big lead, but Oakland eventually caught up and made a game of it.  Linas had a good game, and his bad performance last week. LK scored 13, grabbed 9 boards, and dished out 9 assists.  Jason Conley and Thomas Gardner led Mizzou with 18 each, Jason shot 4-6 from the 3 point line, and TG shot 8-15 overall.  Kalen Grimes and Kevin Young both gave quality minutes.  The team shot better overall with a 44.8& field goal percentage.  Maybe they should have won by a bigger margin, but at this point a wins a win. My prediction last week was pretty close, I said MU would win 72-61.

November 28th- Non-Conference Game
vs. Murray St
.

Mizzou beat an athetic Murray St. team on Sunday.  It was a real sloppy game and with about 6 minutes left it looked like the Racers were going to win.  But then Jason Conley took charge and Mizzou never looked back.  JMac led all Missouri players with 12 points and 4 assists.  Linas chipped in 7 boards.  The tigers had too many turnovers and only shot 39.1% from the free throw line, but managed to still pull out the win.  Good win Tigers.  Mizzou improves to 3-3 on the season.

November 24th- Third Place Game of Guardians Classic
vs. Housto
n

Missouri couldn't repeat what it did last Tuesday and lost to the Houston Cougars on Wednesday night in the third place game of the Guardians Classic.  The Tigers had a chance at the end but Linas couldn't put it away.  It was another tough loss, which I am sure we will see more of

November 23rd- Semifinal of Guardians Classic
vs. Creighto
n

A team with more heart, more determination, and just flat out better execution humiliated the Tigers on Wednesday.  Quin was out coached, the players were outplayed, and the fans were out fanned (is that a word? oh well.)  The crowd on Tuesday in KC was rather pitiful, I expected far more KC Tigers to show up and support this young bunch.  But you can't blame the fans, the players and coaches lost this one.  The Missouri uniform deserves more respect than the team gave it tonight.
P.S: I would like to thank CSTV for carrying this game, because of you 99.9% of the fans weren't able to see the game.  Im not bitter, I truly am happy I didn't have to watch it. Thanks

November 19th- Non-Conference Game
vs. Davidso
n

Missouri lost to an underrated Mid-Major in Davidson on Friday night at the Plage(rism) Arena.  The shooting was horrible; the only thing that kept Mizzou in the game was Linas Kleiza's scoring ability and Spencer Laurie's tenacity on defense late in the game.
