This is the watch tower at Cobb Bridge.  Directly under the tower was the company CP.  You can recognize it by the antenna on the roof.

While we were here our company commander was a Captain William R. Murphy.  I've been told that he is now a lawyer and lives in the Boston area.

For the life of me I can't remember this tower.  Even though I've seen several pictures of it, I can't even stir a vestige of a memory.

Don't know where this was taken or when.

After a lot of studying of this picture I now think it might be Norm Brower.  Norm was wounded August 26th.  He was also at the reunion in Memphis, TN.

Uniform of the day - flackjacket and a belt of machine gun ammo.

Taking a break while patrolling around Cobb Bridge.

According to Bob Muth he is the one on the far left.  Hayward Peleiholani is in the middle with no shirt.  One of our Corpsmen, David Dean is in the green t-shirt on the right.

Bob was wounded in December 1969.  Hayward was killed August 26, 1969.  Doc David was shot August 12, 1969.
