From the Marine Corps Historical Collection
These two pictures are from the Marine Corps Historical Collection.

The caption under this picture said they were Marines of 2/7 on Operation Oklahoma Hills.

It is a good representation of the type of ground we had to cover on the operation.  There were almost no clearings.  For the most part it was pretty tough sledding.

The caption said this was Marines in 2/7 in the base camp of the 31st NVA Regiment.  Golf company spent several days there so this could be us.  After days of looking at this picture I have pretty much convinced myself that the Marine carrying the LAAWS is me.
