Q. Isn't it better to get a remanufactured Transmission from the dealer?"
A." The dealer will do exactly that give you a remanufactured transmission. The transmission will come with out any of the updates that we do. We continously recieve updates from Atra. These updates will give your transmission longer life and function better. In most cases we can save you money by rebuilding your transmission
Q.Can I put in a transmission from the junk yard?
A." Sure you can, but what are you going to get? They are called junk yards for a reason. You also should know that not all transmissions are alike. Even if they came from the same type of vehicle and look alike they may not be the same. There are a lot of different transmissions and you still don't know what your going to get. In 30 days you may be doing it again now you just paid double.
