TRANSMONTANE - The story of the Mountains....

Mountains have featured strongly in my life and therefore became the reason our Kennel Prefix was chosen. TRANSMONTANE means "across mountains" or "from the other side of the mountain".

Living in New Zealand it is pretty uncommon to not encounter mountains on a regular basis. The scenery is among the best in the world. I enjoy life the most when I can relax and gaze out a window onto a Mountain, they seem to just have some quiet presence about them.

Like the Mountains, Bullmastiffs also have a quiet presence about them so it seemed fitting that our Kennel name featured mountains & our future pups to be named after prominent mountains of the world.

At this time, we have decided against breeding until we are in a better position to be able to keep all our pups if necessary.
