Welcome to our website!

Sweetser's
Transitional Living Program created this site as a place for students to learn about life skills.

Much of the
Independent Living Skills section of our site was developed voluntarily by program youth.  Students in the Sweetser Transitional Living Program have the option of selecting relevant readings and creating a variety of quizzes and other exercises for this site, as part of fulfilling their Independent Living Skills competency requirement.

In the future, we hope to utilize this site for providing online assessment capability for a variety of Life Skills topics.

Thanks to all the residents, students and staff who worked so hard to make this website a fun place to visit.  A special thanks goes out to A. Niccole "Nicci" Griffitts for taking on the lion's share of the startup work. Thank you, Nicci.

Thanks to the Maine Transitional Network for the grant to support the initial concept, design and content of this project

Thanks to the software developers at
Halfbaked Software, Inc. for making available the Hot Potatoes suite of software, designed to facilitate the creation of a variety of learning exercises online.  This software is available for download at their website.
