Transister had a 3 month tour of Europe extensively in UK, also
in Denmark, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, and
Sweden, see Past Gigs
Transister made three videos from the debut album. Two for 'Look
Who's Perfect Now' and one for 'Dizzy Moon.'
The first 6 songs that Transister wrote and recorded before they
signed were: 'Look Who's Perfect Now,' 'Stars Collide,' 'Weather
Boy,' 'Head,' 'Flow' and 'Then I Walked Away.'
Keelys mother Carol Hawkes(model/actress)
was in a film called The
Haunted House of Horror when she was 19. They put her very dramatic
scream from that film, in the song 'Falling Off The World.'
Transister used a tiny piece of work of famous classical composer
DeBussy on the song 'Stars Collide.'
Interscope released 'Dizzy Moon' Dj Quick
mixes in U.S and they did quite well on the dance charts.
'Then I Walked Away' was first written by Gary and Eric for Wendy
Matthews CD 'Ghosts' and it has also been released as a CD
single.
There was another band called Transister
of Robert Jan Stips from the Netherlands
in 1978.
Transonic are Eric Pressly and Gary Clark
who produced the Transister album.
