MUCK UP DAY - Cowboys and Indians
We were amongst those in charge of the D Block so we decided to convert it into a Fun House....you remember the TV show-Pat Sharp with his mullet, the annoying cheerleading twins, the go kart bit at the end, the token collecting, the annoyingly catchy theme tune.....
'Fun House-it's a whole lotta fun, prizes to be won...' even though we had this on repeat throughout the morning we have yet to learn the next lines of the song...Anyway-after a lot of balloon blowing, token writing and struggling to get the camouflage net up-the kids ,a.k.a. smurfs ,poured in and were held at gun point until they agreed to participate.
The aim of the game was to collect the tokens and trade them in for the prize that was written on them-these prizes included merits, free food from the canteen, a passion session in the english office, free style tips from Miss Eades and one little smurf even spent about 10 minutes trying to untie the 'permission to not wear your blazer for a whole day' token-talk about enthusiasm. The smurfs tended to take the game very seriously-squabbling over free merits and printer credits with one weirdo using her scissors to collect as many tokens as possible in as short a time as possible...We took great delight in soaking these smurfs at any possible opportunity.
Nehal's chosen token- 'Permission to draw phallic images on the interactive whiteboard...'>>>
<<Ali up to no good...probably cling-filming the doors whilst the little blue people were in lessons, cling filming/gaffa-taping their lockers shut, rubbing vaseline on door handles or smothering the banisters in washing up liquid...who knows?!
Our equivalent to guard dogs i'm guessing- travelled into school in style in the back of a mini, they proved a distraction for the smurfs as we snuck up behind and soaked them with water balloons>>>
There's More...
