My Reply: All investing or trading is 70% mental and 30% strategy. So to be successful you need a strategy that works and the mental toughness to follow that strategy. We all know that, if you don't want to actively manage your investments day-to-day, a long term strategy of buy and hold will do very well for you. Until this summer most long term investers had the mental toughness to stick with their strategy even during down drafts.
