Bo Diddley
Basel
9 November 2001

There are a few spots on this show where the Radio DJ jumps in to do a station ID or offer a comment. But it is mostly done inbetween the songs or Bo's talking so while it's intrusive, it's not disruptive to the show ambience. Unfortunately, the last song fades out and the DJ takes over. Still,  this show is excellent. Bo is in fine voice and everything is very clear. You might even think it's a commercial release - it's that good. Bo is backed by one of his favorite line ups, The Debby Hastings Band, who helped create that special Diddley sound.
