Matt “Guitar” Murphy- Lead Guitar
Charles Candies- Bass
Ken Johnson- Drums
Little Boa- Tenor Sax

Wonderful, bluesy set by one of the better harp players in blues. James’ gravelly vocals add a smoky, bar room feeling to this set. Of particular note are the blues standards “Don’t Start Me to Talking,” “Stormy Monday” and “Fever.” Although the Bass and drums provide a deep backbeat, the lead guitar of Matt “Guitar” Murphy will amaze you. Exceptional recording for the time, there is a faint tape hiss, but do not let that hold you back. If you are a fan of the blues, give this a listen.
