Three Years?!

It's hard for me to believe, but we're approaching our 3-year China-versary! Who would have guessed we would stay so long in this crazy place?

We're now living a comfortable, if not terribly exciting life in Nanjing, a few hours away from Shanghai. I'm speaking Chinese, studying International Relations, and cooking. Darrell is working to improve working conditions and supply chain sustainability throughout Asia. Quite a change from the lives we enjoyed in the US just a short while ago.

You'll be glad to know we haven't fully localized...no spitting, and only pushing and shoving when absolutely necessary.  And we're still quite fond of capitalism! We miss our friends and family a little more each year we're away, and look forward to any opportunity to hear from you!
