The household was named so after its creator, Lord Gerrard Carpentarius, who has the persona of an English toymaker. On June 24, 2000, Lord Gerrard recruited his first 3 members, Gwerydd verch Rhys , Eleanor Chantrill and Kseniia Nikolova doch' in the March of St. Martins. They are considered his 'daughters' by the household.
At Scotchtoberfest 200 in the Barony of Ramshavn, the household gained another member! Aven Jenzen was snagged by his future sisters, and upon hearing the household philosophy, joined the household. Gerrard now has a son!
