DBZ TCG News!

First bit of DBZ TCG news has propped up in the newest edition of Shonen Jump (English version). What is shown on the page (see here), pretty much confirms what has rumoured from earlier:
- only one main personality card per deck
- confirmed personalities are Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz

New DBZ CCG News

In an effort to rebuild interest in the card game, Score Entertainment has ceased all production of the DBGT TCG, in favour of working on a new Dragon Ball Z CCG that will be launched in mid-summer. Here is the full article.

From that news, the outdated card game section of the site will be removed. I'm hoping to redo this section in order to coincide with the upcoming release. On an unrelated note, I would just like to announce that from December 30, 2004, this site is now 5 years old! And don't expect this site to die anytime soon as I will try and make updates more regularly!

YTV's Anime Marathon

As in time's past, YTV is having anime marathon on New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Important to note that there will a ton of DBZ being shown. Firstly, two episodes airing back-to-back at 8PM and at midnight DBZ Movies 1,2 and 3 air in succession followed by another hour of DBZ. If you are looking to catch up on old episodes, check the episode guide for many detailed episode descriptions.

Budokai 3 Intro

The Dragonball Z Budokai 3 Intro has been uploaded on the site. You can get to it by going to the Multimedia Section.

New Section

A new section has been created, which is the airing info section. This section will hopefully show where many anime are airing in Canada. For now, it shows when Dragonball/Z/GT is airing on YTV.
On that note, Dragonball GT and Dragonball have started airing new episodes from the 1st week of September.
Also the voice actor section has been updated with a few more credits.

Two more songs are now uploaded in the multimedia section. As well, the voice actor info page is now online. I will continue to add more credits and sound clips to this page on a regular basis.

A new multimedia section has been opened up on the site. You can view it by clicking here or by going to the features at the top of the page.
I have uploaded two songs (one rare, one not so rare) and a sound clip from the French dub.

SD Gundam Gundam SEED

Also, all of Zeta Gundam is going to be released in a box set on November 23th. Most notably the box set includes a 48-pg. booklet on Zeta Gundam and 9 collectible Zeta Gundam Figures/Pencil Sharpeners.

YTV Anime News! Gundam SEED coming to Canada?

It looks like there will be a large anime lineup coming to YTV this September. YTV is rumoured to be in talks with Bandai Entertainment (Gundam W) to air anime in Canada. Bandai Entertainment responded to this by saying, "[T]here are on-going discussions with broadcasters for the Canadian market." YTV was unavailable for comment. Rumoured anime series to be aired are Gundam SEED, SD Superior Defender, Witch Hunter Robin and .hack//SIGN.

This is an update for the Galaxy of the Dragon. Updates to follow include information on the DBZ French Dub, plus general news on the lastest DBZ video games. I should be starting to refurbish the site and that should take a week or so.
