The key idea of this section.
This section dealt largely with arguments of God's existence and Jesus being fully human and fully divine. Most people do not realize Jesus' existence as both fully human and fully divine, beliving him to be only divine. Jesus reveals his humanity in his fear of persecution from the Romans. When he tells those that he performed miracles on to not tell anybody, it is to avoid persecution. Jesus knew pain, lonliness and desperation on the cross, right before his death. This section also dealt with logical proofs to God's existence, giving examples such as The Golden Ratio and Anthropic Principle. All of the arguments for God's existence in this chapter seeks to prove His existence through logic and reason, not just on faith alone.

Three Important ideas from this section that I most want to remember.
1.     One thing that I want to remember from this section the Paley's example of the watch and the watchmaker. In the example, a man is walking through the woods and finds a watch. It does not matter if he has never seen a watch before, he still reconized that it is not natural. Nothing so intricate and purposeful could randomly come from the woods. The watch represents the universe and the person represents man. the universe is so complex and intricate that it must have a purpose and a creater with a purpose. I think that this is a good case for the existence of God.

2.    A second thing that I want to remember is the criteria for being a Christian. First, a person must accept the God is embodied in Jesus. Second, a person must accept that Jesus died so that he may rise for us to share in his aliveness. Third, a person must accept that on our part of the aliveness agreement, we must be selfless and forgiving and put the needs of others first. This criteria is summed up in the Beatitudes. Finally, a perso must accept that Jesus is fully present in celebrating the Eucharist that is a meal. These are the minimun requirements for being a Christian.

3.     The third idea that I want to remember from the course is that Humans are religious in nature. Uver ninety-seven percent of the world's popularion follows at least some religion. If it is not logical to believe in a god/God, then why do so many Humans do? One answer that I like is that God wants us to be religious and has a religious purpose for us.

"Who do you say" that Jesus is?
Jesus to me was great teacher of morality. He was not just a guy who stood on hills and talked about irrelevant things. Instead he was a man that taught us, but by being one of us and blending in. He taught us no to hate but to love. This is Jesus being human like us.
